Insurance Claims Coordinator jobs in Nashville, TN

Experienced insurance and medical biller needed. Privately owned multi-doctor and multi-specialty office. 20-30 hours week. Hours can be flexible based off the candidate needs.

The ideal candidate will communicate effectively with patients helping to resolve any issues regarding insurance and billing. Must present a professional/healthy lifestyle, be friendly, able to multi-task, and work independently/efficiently. All staff works as a team to assist each other as needed. This candidate must be comfortable filling in for front desk or front office on an as needed basis.

Must have experience verifying insurance, filing of claims, working appeal/denials, pre-cert of procedures and scheduling referrals. This job also includes but is not limited to payment collecting, posting of EOBs, charge entry, generating patient statements, answering of phones, and scheduling patient appointments.

Knowledge of Chiropractic or Physical Therapy billing is helpful. Working knowledge of hormone replacement billing also helpful.

Office hours (with some flexibility)

Monday 8:30-5:30

Wednesday 8:30-6:00

Thursday 11-5:30

Friday 8:30-1

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
