Befitting You was established to provide quality medical necessities to our clients in a safe, caring environment; specializing in orthopedic bracing, women's cancer care, maternity care, as well as durable medical supplies and services.

Befitting You is seeking an experienced insurance verification representative. Candidate must be willing to work with our team, physicians and patients.

Responsibilities and Duties

Job duties include but not limited to the following:

-Verifying/authorizing patient insurance for a variety of durable medical equipment products, and orthopedic bracing.

- Review medical documentation to ensure the prescribed item is a covered benefit.

- Data entry into our electronic medical records.

- Call insurance companies to verify benefits

- Call patients to explain coverage and benefits.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, good organizational skills, excellent customer service skills, ability to multi-task, a professional appearance and understands the importance of patient confidentiality.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have 1 year experience authorizing/verifying insurance in a healthcare setting
