Responsibilities:

- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients prior to their appointments

- Communicate with insurance companies to obtain necessary information

- Maintain accurate records of insurance verification activities

- Stay up-to-date with changes in insurance policies and managed care plans

Requirements:

- Previous experience in insurance verification or a related field

- Familiarity with dental office procedures and terminology is preferred

- Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry and record keeping

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

- Attention to detail and accuracy in verifying insurance information

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
