RJS & Associates Insurance Services is a locally owned, well established insurance agency seeking an Life & Health benefits Agent/Insurance Specialist to work in our Philomath Oregon Office. We are looking for someone who can work independently within a team setting, provide excellent customer service to our group clients and be self motivated.

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Candidates must be licensed in Health & Life and/or be able to obtain a license before the start of your employment.
• Will solely be responsible for all Group Health Renewals and Administation work.
• Assist Producers in managing deadlines for up and coming renewals.
• Quote & Service Health insurance policies for Small and Large Group.
• Answer Phones and Set appointments.
• Prepare Proposals

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in the Health/Life/Medicare Insurance field desired
• Strong work ethic
• Organized and able to multi-task
• Attention to detail with high level of accuracy
• Proficient in MS Office Programs (Excel, Outlook, Word, AgencyBloc, Setmore calendar system etc)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude

Pay: Based on experience. Between $40,000 to $50,000 per hour commissions for new sales
