JOB SUMMARY:
The Referral Intake/Schedule Coordinator is responsible for both the processing of intake requests for home health services and scheduling clinical staff* to perform patient home visits in accordance with physician orders and the home health plan of care. The coordinator also assists with other scheduling of staff, such as for meetings and in-services. This position is responsible for coordinating and verifying insurance eligibility and benefits along with data entry, visit tracking, and verification of visit completion. *Clinical staff includes Registered Nurses, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Medical Social Workers, and Home Health Aides.

Education
Associates degree with emphasis in business, accounting, business administration, or a related field preferred.
Medical terminology preferred.
Experience
Experience with medical office procedures and support functions preferred.
Experience working in a fast paced, multi-tasking setting.
Licensure/Credentials
Valid Washington driver’s license.
Proof of insurance on automobile used for work.
