Intake Coordinator - Home Care jobs in Lawton, OK

Oxford Consulting is currently hiring an Insurance Intake Coordinator for our Sunshine Center located in Lawton OK. The hours will be Monday through Friday 9am-5pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Intake Coordinator:

• Run expiring authorization report 60 and 30 days out and notify therapist that a progress report is due
• Verify benefits and inform families of their benefits
• Enter copay/coinsurance/deductible responsibility in practice perfect
• Get all authorizations for initial and ongoing sessions
• Enter authorization and diagnosis code into practice perfect
• Communicate with scheduler on any authorization updates
• Communicate with center supervisors and BCBA’s on any authorization updates
• Communicate with insurance companies on a daily basis in regards to client benefits and authorization
• Communicate with parents in regards to insurance related matters
• Communicate with billing company in regards to insurance related matters
• Document in Practice Perfect and master google sheet in regards to all authorization updates
• Other duties as assigned

Experience/Qualifications/Education:

• 1-3 years data entry experience
• Data entry experience in a medical office setting preferred

Skills

Basic computer literacy of Word, Excel, Outlook, ACCESS, google documents

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to function independently

Ability to multitask

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
