Responsibilities & Duties
High Level
○ Managing day-to-day reception flow
○ Adapting to office flow based on fluctuations
○ Always prioritizing and improving patient and team member experience
○ Providing feedback on improvement opportunities and assisting with implementation of change
○ Emphasizing and growing the sale of contact lenses
○ Championing goals specific to those performing reception duties
○ Assisting with documentation and updating of processes performed
○ Motivating team members in an ever-changing environment
Day-to-Day
○ Positively greeting and directing all visitors upon walking through the door
○ Quickly and enthusiastically answering phone calls and responding accordingly
○ Scheduling patient appointments
○ Thoroughly checking patients in and out of appointments
○ Responding to patient inquiries in a polite and timely manner
○ Processing patient payments
○ Investigating patient insurance details
○ Walking patients through contact lens purchases
○ Walking patients through contact lens purchases
○ Working closely with Optical team as glasses selection and checkout can go hand-in-hand
○ Keeping a welcoming and safe reception area
