Intake Coordinator jobs in Apple Valley, CA

DesertDME, Inc. is looking for an experienced Intake Coordinator and Driver Dispatcher for Durable Medical Equipment. This is a fast-paced office...strong attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills are a must.

Hours are Monday-Friday for 8 hours per day (40 hours per week). Some overtime, and some Saturdays and Sundays may be required based on the needs of the business.

Main Job Duties

• Answer phones and provide exceptional customer service
• Review new orders emailed from hospices and communicate with hospice representatives regarding orders, delivery timelines, and service calls
• Dispatch drivers
• Data entry of patient information and patient notes
• Data entry of equipment delivery, pick-up, sales
• Daily reconciliation of orders and maintenance of daily census
• General office duties
• Follow HIPAA/PHI standards

Classification: Hourly

Salary: $19-23/hour - depending on experience

Preferred Skills

• Minimum 2 years as Intake Coordinator
• Minimum 2 years experience in dispatch
• Experience in Google Workspace (Gmail, Forms, Sheets)
• Experience using databases
• Bilingual in Spanish

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
