Education/Licensure: Master's Degree in related field. License eligible accepted. Independently licensed preferred.
Pay Grade: Non Licensed: $57,000 - $67,000 (experience dependent) Licensed: $65,000 - $75,000 (experience dependent)
Status: Full time
Shift: Mon - Fri; typically, 8am - 4:30pm; Shifts might require evening and weekend hours.

About Us

SOAP (Structured Outpatient Addiction Program)/IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) can be a major component in establishing and/or maintaining a strong, healthy recovery program. SOAP/IOP provides additional support as individuals work on recovery within their communities and families. The program offers, relapse prevention and daily coping skills, practical recovery skills, connection to community-based supports, health/wellness & self-care education, additional services, including psychiatric care, medication assisted treatment, children’s behavioral health services, and home-based treatment, group therapy (trauma, parenting, anger management, etc.), family education and treatment, collaboration with DCF (Department of Children & Families), probation, CBRS (Community-Based Recovery Services), and parole.

High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency whose mission is to treat and prevent substance use disorders and mental illness. High Point has programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Clinician Duties & Responsibilities

• Client intake process, complete initial assessments , complete related paperwork, and treatment plans for incoming clients.
• Facilitate groups for our Structured Outpatient Addictions Program (SOAP) .
• Meeting two primary clinical needs: 50% of their time is allocated to Intake Coordinator and the Other 50% as the SOAP Coordinator.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of professionals that includes licensed social workers, mental health clinicians, Master’s level clinicians, certified addictions clinicians, psychiatrists, medical physicians, and psychologists, barriers are reduced for patients. This cooperative process ensures patients have real-time access to the services they need.

Clinician Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a related field
• Independent License preferred, not required
• Candidate would need to have experience with intakes, assessments, and treatment planning.
• Group experience is necessary for SOAP Coordinator duties.
