Intake Coordinator conducts initial assessments of patients to determine mental health needs and establish care requirements. May assign patients to mental health practitioners based on intake assessments. Being an Intake Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Intake Coordinator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Clinician will complete comprehensive assessments for children and adults seeking therapeutic services for mental health and substance abuse issues during scheduled Open Access hours. This includes biopsychosocial, diagnostic identification and recommendation for treatment. The Clinician collaborates with agency staff, psychiatry, school and community providers as needed.
Must have Masters Degree!
20 hours a week! Must be flexible to travel between Pawcatuck, New London, Groton and Westbrook.
Mondays 8:30-4:30 (8 hrs)
Tuesdays 8:30-2:30 (6 hrs)
Wednesday 8:30-2:30 (6 hours)
