Intake Coordinator jobs in Providence, RI

Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to join our team. This is a part time position to work alongside our current intake coordinator.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in performing initial screenings on all incoming clients for the purpose of admittance to treatment.

2. Compile client data for yearly reporting; intake dates, demographics, guest book, etc.

3. Schedule, reschedule appointments for intake and general outpatient programs

4. Work with the clinical director/supervisor to determine appropriateness of admittances.

5. Complete all aspects of intaking a client from adminisrative paperwork perspective.

6. Understand the housing grants for client intake and parameters of the grant requirements.

7. Have a working relationship with outside entities to accept referrals and understand their referring protocols.

8. Work alongside current intake coordinator and assist with daily activities as needed.

Requirements:

• Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software
• Must have the abillity to learn the E.H.R. System and document all client and incident interactions in various parts of the software through use of the computer.
• MUST maintain confidentiality in all dealings with potential/current and past clients
• Must be flexible in planning and organizing
• At least high school diploma or GED.
• Working knowledge of insurances and client coverage.
• If in recovery, must have been through a treatment program and be clean and sober and have no criminal activity for at least three years.
• Maintain CPR & First Aid
• Undergo random breathalyzer and or urine screens upon request.

Job Types: Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
