    Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator. In the role of RN Clinical Coordinator you will:

    • Actively support department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit including shift charge, department and/or service line.
    • Ensure that care is delivered to each patient in accordance with quality standards.
    • Act as liaison between physicians and patient care team. Maintain communication and promote cooperation with unit staff and other departments. Supervise the staff; authorize work procedures and assign duties.
    • Provides input and recommendations to the director/manager on coaching, mentoring and performance management of associates.
    • Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
    • Personally, accountable for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

    Qualifications

    In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

    • 1-year clinical RN Experience
    • Associates Degree in Nursing required
    • BSN, preferred
    • RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable, required
    • Nursing Specialty Certification related to the specialty is strongly preferred

    Schedule:  Full time (variable)

     

    Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

    The Oncology department at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital is a 12-bed unit comprised of oncology and surgical patients. Nurses care for many types of cancer patients and post-surgical patients. Nurses hang chemotherapy bags and empathize with the families of these patients. Our mission is to treat our patients with the utmost compassion, respect and integrity through all we do. Our team works very well together, and we are always willing to train new nurses to be the best they can be. We have several educational opportunities for this department.     $32.36 - $61.19 / hour
