Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential care and support to individuals in need. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities and ensuring the well-being of our clients. Duties:

- Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, and dressing

- Assist with medication reminder as directed by healthcare professionals

- Support individuals in performing activities of daily living (ADLs) such as eating, toileting, and mobility

- Monitor and document changes in clients' physical and mental health status

- Implement behavior management strategies to promote a safe and supportive environment

- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients

- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive information

- Utilize computer systems to record attendance accurately

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a nursing home or similar healthcare setting is required

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality

- First aid certification is required

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals

- Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professionalism

- Demonstrated understanding of behavior management techniques

- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Expected hours: 14 – 49 per week
