Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Intake Coordinator. As an Intake Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring smooth patient intake processes. This position requires strong communication skills, medical knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Greet and introduce new patients into the organization
- Call warm leads and determine interest in joining the program
- Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely and efficient patient flow
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Assist with general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar patient service role is preferred
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in office software applications
- Sales Experience
- Familiarity with phone systems and front desk operations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with high levels of motivation
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
