We are looking for a Continuous Integration Engineer to join our team!

We are the world leader in Resilient Positioning, Navigation and Timing (R-PNT) solutions that improve the reliability, performance, and safety of critical, high-risk operations, even in GPS/GNSS denied environments. We provide fail-safe GNSS and PNT solutions for military and commercial applications worldwide. The Position:

We are hiring a software developer to join our Tools and Continuous Integration team. This team creates custom tools and software infrastructure to support the development of our timing products. As a member of Tools & CI team, you will work with our product development and test engineers to understand their needs for infrastructure and tools and provide them with technical support. Your work will contribute to the efficiency and scalability of our development processes, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software.

You will be based out of our Rochester, NY office, but our team is international with significant presence in France and Spain, and some of your closest team members will be international. We strongly prefer someone who can have a regular presence in the office, but we have a hybrid remote work policy and support for flexible working hours.

Since this is a mid-level position, we would like someone with at least a few years of experience with software development. Proficiency with working in Linux is also a key technical skill. Above all, we are seeking someone who enjoys exploring and understanding complex systems, and who can develop creative and innovative solutions. What you will be doing:

• Develop and maintain tools to support product development.
• Design and implement effective Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines.
• Collaborate with product development teams to integrate CI into the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing CI processes.
• Ensure the availability and stability of test environments for development teams.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in CI and infrastructure.

What you bring to Safran T4D:

• Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Proficiency working in a Linux environment.
• Familiarity with CI tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience in software engineering and an understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to work with an international team using Agile methods.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.

The exceptional candidate will have some of these additional qualifications:

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Experience with developing software for embedded systems.
• Experience with Linux system administration.
• Familiarity with Debian software packaging.
