Integration Engineer develops and implements solutions integrating applications across the enterprise or its units/departments. Evaluates existing components or systems to determine integration requirements and to ensure final solutions meet organizational needs. Being an Integration Engineer requires C++ or Java; XML; EDI or OBI; Oracle or Microsoft SQL. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. SUMMARY: Responsible and accountable for analysis, design, coding, and deployment of HL7, FHIR interfaces in coordination with the System Manager. This work includes gathering specifications, testing, data validation, troubleshooting, and batch file creation for computer system integration across the Baxter Health enterprise and regional healthcare provider network.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience in similar discipline required.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of technical experience and detailed knowledge of HL7 interface development and administration required.
Certifications: Related certification(s) preferred but not required.
Other: Data communications protocol (TPC/IP, SFTP) skills recommended.
Preferred Education/Experience: Corepoint and or Rhapsody integration engine experience and/or prior systems/application programming experience preferred. Prior experience with Cerner Millennium administration preferred.

This is a position in a hospital setting which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
