May be responsible for preparing patent or trademark documents, licensing agreements, service agreements, transfer agreements and other contracts or agreements as necessary. Being an Intellectual Property Attorney aids in protecting the organization's assets in the area of intellectual property. Requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Additionally, Intellectual Property Attorney requires admittance to a state bar. Typically reports to a manager. The Intellectual Property Attorney work is closely managed. The position is in a 24 hour residential program.
Must be able to work flexible hours to meet individual and program needs.
Hours include mornings, days, and evenings, together with weekends, holidays and breaks.
Physical demand:
Ability to exert moderate physical activity (i.e., transferring, bending, twisting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, repetitive lifting, and pushing in miscellaneous activities with individuals and in overall maintenance to the house).
