Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, Inc. (TRLA) seeks a Real Property/Foreclosure Prevention Staff Attorney to represent low-income homeowners facing foreclosure and/or other issues related to homeownership across the TRLA service area. Issues handled regularly include contracts for deeds, mortgage foreclosure, property tax foreclosure, property tax liens, title disputes, and predatory home purchase arrangements. In addition to litigation, this practice team performs transactional work, conducts outreach, and creates know-your-rights materials to distribute within the community.
