Intellectual Property Support Manager jobs in Akron, OH

We are looking for a self motivated paralegal to ensure smooth running of the office and effective case management. You will provide a broad spectrum of services under the supervision of an attorney.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to patent attorney and enhance office effectiveness
• Handle email and telephone communication with clients
• Administratively support attorney
• Prepare forms and other documents related to patents and trademark
• Type up and file basic US Patent and Trademark Office documents and correspondence
• Maintain contact lists
• Monitor deadlines and juggle calendars
• Answer and direct phone calls

Skills

• 2 years minimum working experience as paralegal or legal assistant
• Excellent secretarial and organizational skills required
• Computer literacy required
• Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
• Familiarity with patent and trademark law office, legal procedures and protocols a plus
• Working knowledge of case management software a plus but not required
• Proficiency in English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
