    Assist attorneys in the practice of intellectual property law, specifically patent litigation and prosecution.     Duties and responsibilities:
    • Assist in preparing legal documents and submissions to government agencies, including the U.S. International Trade Commission, the U.S. Department of Commerce, USPTO, and U.S. District Courts.
    • Provide case management for patent litigation in federal district courts, appeals before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, and actions before the U.S. International Trade Commission, USPTO, and Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
    • Manage paper and electronic discovery process for all phases of discovery and trial preparation, including coordination of electronic and paper discovery, patent file histories, depositions, transcripts, and trial support for large‐scale productions and reviews.
    • Prepare for and attend depositions and trials, including coordinating logistics, and preparing witness files and exhibits.
    • Draft various motions and pleadings.
    • Bluebook/Cite check, proofread, and assemble exhibits related to filing.
    • Coordinate service of process and courtesy copies.

    Skills and experience:
    • 5 years of IP Litigation experience having helped manage and supervise all facets of litigating Section 337 matters before the U.S. International Trade Commission
    • At least 5 years of experience in patent and trademark litigation in federal district court
    • At least 5 years of experience in patent proceedings before the International Trade Commission
    • 2 years of experience with USPTO inter partes review (IPRs) proceedings.
    • 2 years of experience with USPTO patent and trademark prosecution.
    • Proficient in electronic filings using Pacer CM/ECF and USPTO systems.
    • Willingness and flexibility to work overtime, occasionally on short notice.

    Educational requirements:
    • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

    Working conditions:
    • This position works in a professional office environment and must sit for prolonged periods using a computer and telephone.
    • During periods of heavy workload, it is required to work before and after scheduled work hours as well as during weekend days.

    Compensation:
    • $110k ‐ $125k annually
