You will report to Senior Counsel and provide strategic direction and advice in connection with the full range of intellectual property support. Key Responsibilities
Become a tactical partner with the technical and business leaders to support the IP needs from both an operating and strategic perspective.
Work with the commercial legal team to support IP issues relevant to the businesses.
Lead all aspects of portfolio management, counseling, agreements and licensing and support litigation as needed for your clients.
Provide oversite and leadership to outside counsel.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor degree required.
Bachelor's degree in chemistry or chemical-related art is required.
7 years of diverse Intellectual Property experience.
Licensed to practice law in at least one state and in good standing.
Registration to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office is required.
Previous experience working for a law firm and a general knowledge of foreign patent practices.
