Verrill’s Intellectual Property Group is a rapidly growing team, combining experienced attorneys and other professionals to provide a full range of intellectual property legal services, including prosecution, enforcement, licensing, and litigation. In addition to prosecuting and maintaining patent and trademark portfolios for businesses throughout the U.S. and international markets, our Intellectual Property attorneys handle high-profile patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret cases in state and federal courts.
The ideal candidate has an advanced technical degree in Chemistry, Biosciences, or Electrical Engineering and a broad range of experience including patent prosecution, counseling, strategy, and licensing, as well as a demonstrated ability to develop business, maintain client relationships, and manage and mentor junior attorneys.
Applicants must have exceptional subject matter knowledge, a portable book of business, and the ability to meet competing deadlines, in a friendly but fast-paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be a motivated team player who values integrity and would thrive as a member of an intellectually engaged, entrepreneurial team.
