Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Property Manager. In this role, you will provide support to the Director of Property Manager in overseeing the operations of our properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, sales, and customer service.
Duties:
- Assist the Director of Property Manager in day-to-day operations of the properties
- Conduct property inspections and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
- Respond to tenant inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance tasks
- Assist in leasing activities, including showing available units to prospective tenants
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping
- Maintain accurate records of rental payments and expenses
- Assist in budgeting and financial reporting processes
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders and maintenance requests
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to negotiate contracts and leases with tenants and vendors
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Experience with data entry and record keeping
