Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Lawrenceburg TN. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts supporting production in our weld department. The forklift driver is not only responsible for the movement of materials in and out of the department but to help drive productivity through oranization and work cell preperation.

Responsibilities:

- Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other heavy equipment

- Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other designated equipment

- Move pallets or materials to designated areas within the warehouse

- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning

- Maintain accurate inventory counts and records

- Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times

- Assist in other warehouse duties as needed

Skills:

- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role

- Strong knowledge of order picking, hi-lo, and lift truck operations

- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures

- Ability to operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong communication skills

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Valid forklift certification/license

- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred
