Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 2D and 3D models using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, NavisWorks, and Civil 3D
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop accurate design plans
- Review project specifications and requirements to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Prepare and modify design documents, including blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess project requirements
- Perform quality checks on completed designs to identify any errors or discrepancies
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in CAD technology
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a CAD Designer or similar role
- Proficient in using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, NavisWorks, and Civil 3D
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
