    Part 1: Hoskinson Biotechnology and associated companies (Hoskinson Health & Wellness, and Hoskinson Contracting) are a newly founded comprehensive health and wellness organization, and construction company in the area of Gillette, Wyoming. Our organizations were created to provide prospective healthcare resources to the community and meet the needs of our patient base. To ensure patient needs are met, we are pursuing long-term expansion plans in Gillette, Wyoming that will be constructed by Hoskinson Contracting.

    Part 2: Hoskinson Ranch and associated companies are in the mountain region of Wheatland, Wyoming. Our organization was created to bring innovation to a traditionally rural environment and provide some elements of agricultural support to the community. To ensure proper development, we are pursuing long-term expansion plans on the existing Ranch grounds.

    The Interior Designer will create functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing spaces by assessing space requirements, determining optimal furniture placement, and selecting decorative items, all while adhering to relevant blueprint, building code, and inspection requirements.

    This position will include work in Gillette and Wheatland, as well as Longmont, Colorado, ranging from private offices and clinics, to residential work. Candidate must be willing to travel between site work as needed. Preference will be given to candidates with esthetic work of the earthy, naturalistic, and serene scaled approach.

    Summary of Responsibilities:

    • Works with leadership to determine goals and requirements for spaces to be designed
    • Collaborates with architect, engineer, project manager, and any other team member to further understand how interior space will be utilized, furnished, and overall appeal
    • Prepares sketches or visual aids to demonstrate preliminary designs as required
    • Consults with leadership in the selection process of materials, furnishings, décor, etc.
    • Determines adequate timelines and cost analysis to present to leadership
    • Processes orders and maintains oversite of materials adhering to projected budget
    • Overseas the installation of materials, furniture, etc. and other design elements
    • Maintains quality control of materials, furniture, and overall job completion is up to leaderships standards, and makes recommendations on revisions that may be required
    • Establishes excellent relationships with vendors and third parties as applicable
    • Ensures satisfactory with leadership by visiting the project and upholding to applicable deadlines
    • Remains up-to-date with current trends, materials, techniques, and other developments in interior design especially with woodwork and nature
    • Works simultaneously with other contractors or team members in a professional and positive manner
    • Other duties as assigned

     

    Supervisory Responsibilities: None indicated at this time; however, development of a team could occur.

    Direct Report: This position will report directly to the Director of Contracting.

    Physical Requirements: 

    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
    • Must be able to lift up to 15lbs at times
    • Must be able to distinguish between colors

    Knowledge, Experience, & Education Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field
    • Must possess National Certification for Interior Design or willing to obtain
    • 3-4 years of experience in interior design
    • Portfolio of design work to be presented at interview
    • Strong understanding and implementation of wood work and nature within interior design
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Experience with computational design
    • Proficient in AutoCAD, photoshop, Revit, etc.
    • Previous work with multi-million-dollar, commercial scale construction project
    • Previous work with hospitals or healthcare projects is a bonus, but not required     
    •  Able to travel as required
