Additionally, Interface Designer - Web requires knowledge of visual design and wireframing/prototyping tools. May perform user research, usability testing, or facilitate focus groups. May require familiarity with various graphic design software packages. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Position Summary:
The MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Programmer II will be responsible for the infrastructure, controls, and automation systems across several facilities and will be the solution architect who maps the requirement to the capabilities of the system to ensure optimal technical implementation. This position provides technical leadership and coordination in the design, development and implementation of complex industrial applications, databases, and information systems in a production and manufacturing environment.
The MES Programmer II is expected to develop into a technical authority with a firm grasp of project management principles and tools, mentoring and commercial skills and is responsible for assisting in all phases of MES projects, including requirements gathering, detailed design, development, commissioning, documentation, and user training. This role will work in conjunction with the IT teams to maintain existing equipment and to develop long term technology and automation solutions across the company.
