Additionally, Interface Designer - Web requires knowledge of visual design and wireframing/prototyping tools. May perform user research, usability testing, or facilitate focus groups. May require familiarity with various graphic design software packages. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Interface Designer - Web occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. You will help build and maintain content management systems across several web properties. You should be comfortable using both front-end and back-end web tools. The position reports to the Director of Marketing Operations.

    Your Role

    • Part of a team that manages the Sangoma family of websites.
    • Manage the web content management systems in Wordpress and Drupal.
    • Design and develop dedicated responsive landing pages and websites utilizing HTML/CSS/js.
    • Estimate, document and execute projects on schedule.
    • Optimize the performance of web pages for speed and SEO.
    • Translate wireframes and mockups into HTML and CSS.
    • Monitor and report website performance issues and coordinate with the IT team to resolve problems
    • Assist in maintaining the web applications used in marketing.
    • Working in a team environment, collaborating and communicating with other team members to provide a world class web experience.

    Your Background:

    • 2 years experience as a web developer
    • Strong preference to the Wordpress CMS. Experience in Drupal and other CMS platforms will also be considered.
    • PHP7, MYSQL, HTML 5, CSS and Java Script knowledge highly preferred.
    • Experience with source code control through platforms such as Git and Stash.
    • Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Ability to balance multiple projects concurrently.
    • Great communication skills.
    • Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment, while staying aligned with corporate goals.
    • Ability to take critique, criticism, and instruction well and apply suggestions appropriately.
