Assemblers needed for Production Facility in Ladson, SC!!

Shift : 7am-3 : 30pm

Rate of Pay : $15.00 / hour

Main Responsibilities :

• Work as part of a production team to assemble parts.
• Properly remove assembly components from the box without damaging product.
• Sorts and places material or items on tables, rack or bins.
• Assemble small parts manually.
• Uses small tools and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly.
• Removes extraneous plastic material from molded parts.
• Packs, seals, and moves boxes.
• Wear the applicable PPE, adhere to all warehouse and production safety rules, quality standards, procedures, and employee expectations.
• Follows established standard operating procedures per the certifications and / or work instructions.
• Visually inspect product and packing materials for defects as applicable.
• Immediately alert lead-person or supervisor of non-standard conditions.
• Complete daily housekeeping tasks (clean as you go and end of the day routine) to ensure a clean and safe work area.
• Meets production schedules and targets as defined by the production plan, Supervisor or Line Manager.

Education :

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements :

• Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
• Continually required to lift / push / carry items less than / up to 25 pounds.
• Vision is required to analyze and process work; and to work on computer terminal / machine centers, etc.
• Hearing is essential for safety reasons; and to communicate with employees, supervisors, manager
