Assembly Manager

Timpl Group has been retained by one of the top 30 auto parts companies in the world to recruit an Assembly Manager. This position will lead teams of Assistant Managers, Group Leaders, and Team Leaders in an automotive manufacturing environment to meet company goals and objectives, and this position will be responsible for monitoring Safety, Quality, Cost, and Productivity with daily improvement.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Structures the department’s activities consistent with meeting the business objectives.
• Manages / leads problem solving and countermeasure activities.
• Reviews production schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, and work procedures, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
• Oversees production adherence to time/attendance and all other company policies in area of responsibility.
• Leads direct reports in continuous improvement activities.
• Maintains Assembly’s Process Chart, Control Plan and PFMEA
• Plans, evaluates, and improves the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and output.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
• 5-10 years of Assembly and/or Production related job experience in the automotive industry required
• Tier-1 Automotive experience preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the States without any sponsorship
