The Assembly Team Lead is responsible for managing and coordinating the efficient operation of multiple Assembly lines and processes and associates across multiple shifts. To ensure quality product is received on time by customers. While making sure our products meet our goals and visions.
- Review and evaluate daily/monthly production plans and results. Determine if resource adjustments need to be made in order to achieve the plan, and best method to recover any production loss.
- Develop, prioritize and evaluate strategic initiatives that drive business results.
- Effectively communicate upstream and downstream to all levels of the organization to ensure common understanding and direction.
- Proactively interact with other SCM departments, R&D and Sales & Marketing to create solutions to complex issues and new models.
- Coordinate daily/monthly production strategy with support groups to ensure production targets are achieved.
- Drive innovations that impact multiple areas and deliver new generation technologies, methods, and processes.
- Develop capability of self, colleagues, and team through training, mentoring, and sharing of business/technical experiences.
- Evaluate monthly KPl's and report results to management team.
- Work with R&D to understand long term new model plans and create strategies within unit to successfully implement.
- Evaluate project implementation, schedule, budget and resource allocations to ensure successful completion and target achievement.
- Develop and manage investment and expense budgets to achieve overall cost targets.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Minimum Educational Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in business or technical field, or equivalent work experience relevant manufacturing experience
Minimum Experience
8 years manufacturing related experience, 3 years in leadership role
