Position Description
We are seeking a UAS Flight Operations Lead that has experience as a UAS pilot and as a UAS trainer to join our team in Hampton, VA. The UAS Flight Operations Lead will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day flight operations of AAC's unmanned aircraft systems. This includes coordinating and conducting flight tests, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and other relevant industry standards, analyzing and reporting flight data, and coordinating with other team members to optimize system performance and reliability. This role will also serve as the customer demonstration pilot, create AAC’s training curriculum, and lead customer operation and maintenance training for the UAS.
