Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager manages the interior fabrication of aircraft including mechanics, the fitting of sub-assemblies to the aircraft, and final aircraft interior production. Ensures compliance with all engineering, FAA, and customer regulations and specifications. Being an Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to interior assembly team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Additionally, Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a unit/department head. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. The Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. To be an Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. - Shift 1 (United States of America) Position Summary: Supervision of the repair shop team for gearbox rebuilding and the new extruder assembly department. Assurance of quality. Ensure the project schedule is met and maintain high OTD delivery to the customer. Work You’ll Do: Provide day-to-day instruction and direction to the department personnel, including both administrative and technical guidance. Supervise rebuild of gearboxes for extruders and assembly of new extruders. Working knowledge of gears and bearings is required. Supervise the documentation of all projects, shop floor measurements, inspection reports, drawing mark-ups, etc. to record the progress of jobs and quality aspects of the job. Work closely with project managers and planning to determine the scope of a project, costing and schedule of new opportunities, and the on-time delivery of running projects. Support process improvements and lean methods Basic Qualifications: 3-5 years minimum experience in industrial maintenance or an equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis on industrial technology Advanced computer skills. Ability to read blueprints. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively Supervision experience required Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering a plus Team: Two teams.
