Produce display boards either individually or as part of a team effort to fulfill customer orders or business need in a timely manner.
Work produced must be of the highest quality and completed efficiently and effectively, within standards and tolerances defined
within the Samples department.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly, develop assembly techniques to consistently meet product and quality standards.
• Acquire and apply detailed knowledge of all product lines and colors, focusing on recognition of quality product from.
• Become familiar with concept boards, focusing on recognition of tolerances of color and quality.
• Prepare materials for assembly of concept boards as directed.
• Communicate immediate needs for production materials, equipment or parts promptly to department leaders as required.
• Properly process waste water in water treatment system regularly as required by department policy and OSHA guidelines.
• Post completed work to computer.
• Train or assist in cross-training of department staff in the competent completion of concept board production to include all
aspects of the work (such as safety and the proper use of personal protective equipment).
• Adhere to all company and departmental work and safety policies at all times. Utilize and care for all equipment , as well as
personal protective equipment as required by the department and company policy. Report damage or loss of equipment
immediately to management for repair or replacement. Never use damaged equipment of any kind.
• Communicate positively and professionally with coworkers within between departments at all times.
• Other duties as required.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Work will be assigned weekly and expected to meet deadlines
• Must have high attention to detail and be able to recognize tile colors and pieces
• Product Knowledge - Ability and desire to develop a comprehensive knowledge base of STM product lines, specifications and
applications
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety.
• Glue, Grout and cut pieces to match master display boards
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Must posses basic reading, writing, math skills.
Willing to learn how to use panel saw or fork lift is desirable, but not required.
Must be willing and able to learn how to use a tile saw
Experience, preferred not required. will train the right candidate.
Computer Skills: Basic computer interactive knowledge. Willingness to interface with computer is essential.
