Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor supervises interior fabrication of aircraft including mechanics, the fitting of sub-assemblies to the aircraft, and final aircraft interior production. Ensures compliance with all engineering, FAA, and customer regulations and specifications. Being an Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. The Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. To be an Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.   • Essential Functions:

    • Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications: conducting visual and measurement tests: rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
    • Approves in-process production by confirming specifications: measurement test: communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
    • Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions: calling for repairs as needed.
    • Accomplishes quality and organizational mission by completing related results as needed.
    • Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs: summarizing re-work and waste: inputting data into quality database.
    • Report all research results and document process improvement.
    • Analyze information and report to quality manager.
    • Manufacturing methods and procedures internal auditor.
    • Maintain 5-star, environmental, QS/TS and other system to attain certifications.
    • Responsible for mentoring new team members.
    • Adhere to and administer company policies/procedures pertaining to their job.
    • Actively seeks out areas for improvement and devises/aids in the development of counter measures.
    • Responsible for maintaining and supporting ISO/TS16949 and has the responsibility to contact Team Leads and/or stop processes that could ship a non-conforming products.
    • Responsible for maintaining and supporting ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001; the company’s environmental, health, and safety risks of their job, and how their job affects the environment.
