Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor supervises interior fabrication of aircraft including mechanics, the fitting of sub-assemblies to the aircraft, and final aircraft interior production. Ensures compliance with all engineering, FAA, and customer regulations and specifications. Being an Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. The Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. To be an Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Three years of public service is strongly preferred, e.g., case management, community organizing, or nonprofit work experience. Constituent casework is one of the essential functions of the Assemblymember's office. While a day in the life will vary, some of the primary responsibilities include: resolving and managing constituent issues and responding to casework correspondence. Interacting with government agencies, organizations and members of the community. Data entry, maintaining files on issues, assisting with office and community events and a strong commitment to community and the State of NY.
Position can be full time or part-time. The Assembly does not have a grade system, salary is based on experience.
