Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor supervises interior fabrication of aircraft including mechanics, the fitting of sub-assemblies to the aircraft, and final aircraft interior production. Ensures compliance with all engineering, FAA, and customer regulations and specifications. Being an Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. The Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. To be an Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. The primary responsibilities of the Aircraft Inspector are a key member of our maintenance team responsible for inspecting aircraft and provides inspection guidance on all aspects of aircraft maintenance; determines equipment malfunctions on the shop floor prior to the final return to service. The ideal candidate exercises strong judgment and demonstrates commitment to the success of the company by positively supporting the company’s directives and objectives.
