Description
Interior Designer (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Architecture, Inc.; San Francisco CA): Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies in development of three dimensional (3D) models of buildings and their components under the direction of Project Architect. Develop design documentation including plans, sections, elevations, and details. Develop space planning, block planning, and adjacency diagrams. Develop and document floor plans for design and construction. Develop construction and design details. Develop and render 3D views. Develop presentation documents ensuring design intent is incorporated. Coordinate with teams, including contractors and consultants. Responsible for selection of comprehensive furniture, fixtures and equipment for Interior Design projects. Assist in construction administration duties such as Request for Information and Submittals. Assist with preparation of organization of documentation drawings. The Salary is $95,659 per year. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). #GTM
Qualifications
Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Interior Design, Interior Architecture and Design, or a related field, and 4 years of related work experience; OR a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Interior Design, Interior Architecture and Design, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 2 years experience in the following: Utilizing Revit in development of 3-D models of buildings and their components; Developing space planning, block planning, and adjacency diagrams in coordination with building program; Evaluating and selecting building systems and materials; and Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUP, Newforma, and Sefaira.
Must have NCIDQ certification.
