General Responsibilities: Quality Assurance Internal Auditor will report directly to Quality Assurance Manager. Internal Auditor role supports the need to ensure quality products and material through auditing of our suppliers and internal processes.
Specific Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing and conducting quality and supplier audits schedule
Evaluate production, warehouse, and other processes for compliance with quality requirements.
Training employees on quality standards and procedures
Analyze and evaluate trends in audit and customer satisfaction results for improvement.
Preparing and presenting quality audits reports to senior management.
Keeping abreast of industry standards and regulations and ensuring products maintain compliance to standards.
Assist with follow-up audits, as required.
Trending internal audit findings and reporting to management review semi annually
Maintain an objective mindset when performing internal audit to ensure compliance and understanding gaps.
Other assigned duties as needed.
Education and Experience:
High School degree required; Associate degree preferred.
Certified BRCGS Internal auditing
5 years’ experience in quality assurance
Strong Communication skills
Proficiency in word and excel.
Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Physical Demands:
Ability to sit/stand for prolonged periods.
Ability to move and lift-up to 25 lbs.
Ability to reach and bend.
Travel Required:
Travel 15-25% - depending upon as needed supplier audits and AFS sites audits.
