    Microsoft Corporation has the following job opportunity:

     

    Analyze financial, budgeting, accounting, or other business information systems. Conduct Internal Audits to identify and evaluate risks and controls of end-to-end business and ITprocesses for complex and/or ambiguous areas, including sales deal execution, go-to-market offers, subsidiary audits, Corporate functions, and privacy. Develop detailed test plans for key segments of audits by developing understanding of audit area(s), enterprise risks, and reviewing available data and information. Conduct audit fieldwork using appropriate auditing methods (e.g., walkthroughs and operational effectiveness testing) and create high-quality workpapers to document procedures performed. Draft audit issues clearly and concisely based on fieldwork, supporting evidence, and risk-based implications. Clearly communicate project status, findings, analysis, and results with project team, IA management, and senior stakeholders. Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. Remain current and increase knowledge in the areas of auditing, accounting, business, company products and company information utilizing self-study and continuing education efforts. Telecommuting permitted up to 100% from any location in the U.S. May require travel to unanticipated worksites up to 25 percent.

    Minimum Requirements

     

    • Education: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related
    • Experience: Five years of experience in any audit, control and compliance, or controllership related occupation 
    • Education or Experience in Specialized audit skills; Conducting Internal Audits to identify and evaluate risks and controls of end-to-end business and IT processes for complex and/or ambiguous areas, including sales deal execution, go-to-market offers, subsidiary audits, Corporate functions, and privacy; Developing detailed test plans for key segments of audits by developing understanding of audit area(s), enterprise risks, and reviewing available data and information; Conducting audit fieldwork using appropriate auditing methods and creating highquality work papers to document procedures performed; and Drafting audit issues based on fieldwork and evidence.

    Pay Range and Benefits Information

    Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position (ML88095B) based in Redmond, WA, (but telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.) $135,160 -$165,160. Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay  depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. 

     

    At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. Benefits/perks listed may vary depending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the country work location. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others. U.S.-based employees also receive, per calendar year, up to 10 scheduled paid holidays, and up to 80 hours Holistic Health Time Off. Additionally, hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid vacation time, and salaried/exempt employees have Discretionary Time Off (DTO).
