Ministry Advancement Executive Assistant
Living Waters is currently looking for a Ministry Advancement Executive Assistant to be the supportive force that empowers our Advancement (donor development) team. The ideal person for the job will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. The candidate will have previous experience working with and supporting leadership staff, performing administrative duties, project management, and customer service. Given the fast-moving and exciting nature of Living Waters, we rely on our team members to have flexibility and foresight.
Ministry Advancement Executive Assistant Duties:
- Serve as the Executive Assistant to the Living Waters Vice President of Ministry Advancement
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to keep Advancement projects on task, including, but not limited to, print and digital marketing
- Coordinate the creation and execution of order fulfilment shipping processes for unique donor content including but not limited to DVD’s, CD’s, books, and digital media
- Plan and coordinate donor experiences such as large and small “thank you” dinners, premiers, and other donor related events
- Work directly with the finance team to keep CRM and financial records clean and up to date
- Help plan and execute donor “thank you” trips
- Create financial reports and projections
- Act as a Living Waters representative to ministry partners over the phone, email and in person
Organizational Responsibilities:
- Assist Finance in maintaining donor database and reporting system to ensure effective and complete reporting to the Vice President of Ministry Advancement
- Assist in developing, strategizing, and coordinating the implementation of annual and special campaigns from start to finish
- General Project management
- Light copy editorial and user experience quality control oversight Critical

- Can articulate a rationale for biblical evangelism

- Proficient in Word and Excel
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Executive Assistant experience or equivalent
- Experience working for a Christian, non-profit ministry preferred
- Direct or related experience in non-profit donor development and fundraising a plus, but not required
Terms and Conditions
- This is a permanent, full-time position, subject to a short probationary period, and is for our Bellflower, California headquarters.
- We offer a generous and competitive salary with attractive benefits. Starting salary range $50k - $65k, commensurate to experience.
