Job Summary:
We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling front office reception and administration duties, including, but not limited to, greeting patients, answering phones, taking messages, and scheduling patient appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients as soon as they arrive at the office
- Checking in and Checking out patients
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g., pens, forms, and brochures)
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone
- Schedule and reschedule appointments and radiology appointments at other facilities
- Making sure all insurance and patient information is correct at time of check in
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist or similar role
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Skills:
- Knowledge of medical receptionist duties
