The Lighting Technician will perform duties which include configuring equipment for client rental, inspecting and cleaning equipment upon return, and other warehouse operations including loading trucks and general maintenance. ILC provides rental services and equipment for a variety of clients including trade show exhibits, theatrical productions, concerts, and special events.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of theatrical lighting equipment strongly preferred.
• Works with minimal supervision, and proactively seeks ways to improve processes.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly.
• Can multitask and/or switch between projects efficiently.
• Has reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Basic understanding of computers and Windows.
• Perform tasks that involve lifting and moving objects, sometimes exceeding 75 pounds.
• Ability to stand for the entire work day.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest safety standards.
• Clean, prep and perform light maintenance theatrical lighting equipment, and other related inventory.
• Load/unload trucks; clean and maintain warehouse.
• Scan equipment barcodes and enter equipment quantity count when performing check-in/out tasks.
• Complete assigned tasks within required time deadlines.
• Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices.
• Complete other tasks as assigned
