International Banking Manager directs and oversees a financial institution's international banking policies, objectives, and initiatives. Maintains a deep and current knowledge of international variances in cultural, business, legal and regulatory issues as they pertain to banking. Being an International Banking Manager is responsible for the development and maintenance of banking services to international accounts. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, International Banking Manager typically reports to a head of unit/department. The International Banking Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be an International Banking Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Description

    We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Senior Banker on U.S. Bank’s Denver Commercial Banking Team. The ideal candidate has proven business development experience in the commercial and industrial space in addition to having the ability manage and grow a large, complex commercial loan portfolio. Candidate should have knowledge and experience with regards to advising clients and prospects on commercial banking ancillary product sets and services, be able to identify and successfully capitalize on cross-sell opportunities and make appropriate referrals. This person will understand how to navigate a commercial banking loan approval process and can successfully manage portfolio credit quality.

    Basic Qualifications
    - Degree in finance, accounting, or related field
    - 10 or more years of commercial banking experience
     

    Preferred Skills/Experience
    - Proven business development skills with companies in the commercial and industrial space,

    - Proven knowledge and experience with regards to initiating and driving successful internal partnerships with treasury management and payments solutions, foreign exchange, capital markets and wealth management, amongst other internal banking partners,

    - Highly experienced with regards to growing and managing a large, complex portfolio of commercial loans,
    - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    - Well-developed analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

    - Understanding of commercial credit and underwriting

    - Self-starter with excellent time management skills

    The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $145,180.00 - $170,800.00 - $187,880.00
