POSITION SUMMARY:

The role of the Multi-Skilled International Material Handler II is ensuring that special instructions on shipments are carried out in accordance with logistics requirements.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare cartons for picking and packing
• Attach license plate tag to the carton
• Scan license plate tag with RF gun, transfer correct product from zones into the carton
• Verify the correct amount of product is in carton at packing station, place packing slip in carton, and fill carton with air pillows as needed.
• Secure carton with tape and palletize as needed
• Transfer cartons to shipping area by using a pallet jack
• Wrap pallets with stretch film prior to shipment
• Process USPS mailing daily, including all customs paperwork with all packages.
• Ship international orders thru FedEx and UPS, including declaring the cost of each item, fabric content and the country of manufacturer
• Generate Bill of Ladings for outbound shipments
• Obtain Freight quotes and apply shipping charges – for LTL shipping
• Ensure Bill of Lading documents are signed and accurate
• Support wave generation / creation process for shipment work creation & printing. 
• Support the loading of outbound shipments
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-3 years previous experience in a Distribution Center environment.
• Minimal High School education required.
• Must be able to follow verbal instructions in English and read basic English to transfer product to appropriate locations and compare locations to written documents.
• Previous experience using RF guns
• Previous experience with equipment such as using a pallet jack

Pay Range: $16 - $18.00 per hour plus bonus
