International Controller directs and develops the organization's international accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives. Ensures the preparation and analysis of all financial reports meet the needs of the organization and comply with all applicable regulations. Being an International Controller maintains an in-depth, and up to date knowledge and understanding of both US and international accounting principles. Advises management of potential changes in accounting regulations or practices that may impact international operations and reporting. Additionally, International Controller requires a bachelor's degree of accounting or finance. Typically reports to a CFO or top management. Typically requires CPA. The International Controller manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be an International Controller typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     Job Description:

    We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Accounting Controller to oversee all aspects of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions, as well as manage month and year-end closing procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, extensive experience in managing AR and AP processes, proficiency in ERP software, expertise in leading computer related activities, and a keen understanding of cash flow management principles.

    Responsibilities:

    - Manage all aspects of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions, including invoicing, billing, collections, vendor management, payment processing, and cash disbursements.

    - Monitor and analyze cash flow activities, including cash receipts, disbursements, and forecasting, to ensure liquidity and financial stability.

    - Oversee the month-end closing process for AR, AP, and cash flow management, including reconciliation of accounts, preparation of journal entries, and generation of financial reports.

    - Utilize ERP software to streamline AR and AP processes, ensure data accuracy, and enhance reporting capabilities.

    - Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize cash flow, improve efficiency and accuracy of AR and AP processes, and minimize financial risk.

    - Liaise with banking institutions and financial partners to manage cash flow requirements, banking relationships, and financing activities.

    - Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, procurement, and operations, to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.

    Qualifications:

    - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA designation preferred.

    - 7-10 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash management, and month/year-end closing.

    - Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with the ability to apply.

    - Hands-on experience with ERP software with expertise in leading computer related activities.

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

    - Detail-oriented and analytical mindset, with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.

    - Expert in MS Office skills, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and proficient in Excel.

    - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
