International Controller directs and develops the organization's international accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives. Ensures the preparation and analysis of all financial reports meet the needs of the organization and comply with all applicable regulations. Being an International Controller maintains an in-depth, and up to date knowledge and understanding of both US and international accounting principles. Advises management of potential changes in accounting regulations or practices that may impact international operations and reporting. Additionally, International Controller requires a bachelor's degree of accounting or finance. Typically reports to a CFO or top management. Typically requires CPA. The International Controller manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. General description of the job:
Responsible for the activities related to accounting, budget, costs and others, involving the control and data reporting of a company plant. Implements the operational procedures in the area, in accordance with internal policies / directives. Establishes and maintains accounting policies and controls, fiscal controls, preparing financial reports and safeguarding the organization's assets, including accounts payable and/or receivables. Maintains accounting and financial records and reports, including general ledger, financial statements, regulatory and management reports. Performs cost maintenance, absorption accounting, monthly forecasts and annual budgets. May also be responsible for travel and expense policies for the company.
Responsibilities:
Prepare the monthly tax payment (ISR & VAT) returning and compensations.
Prepare the taxable income of SAT
Determinate the deferred taxes
Prepare all the annexes of dictamen fiscal (SIPRED or ISSIF)
Quarterly reporting to US corporate of the tax provision
Obtain data for the systems ERP (SAP)
Attend requirements of Hacienda

Knowledge on Hyperion, AS400 , BPCS, Accounting Packages, Manufacturing Cost, Financial Planning, Project Valuation, Import & Export.
