Full job description

I have the pleasure of working with are rapidly growing client that specialize in the manufacture, sales, service and installation of automotive lifts and garage equipment. They founded in 2010 and showed impressive growth while building their reputation as trusted name in automotive lifts.

The Controller position will be pivotal in the continued development and implementation of a new accounting system for the Company and its subsidiaries which includes sales, service, and manufacturing divisions; assistance with the preparation of an annual budget, understanding overall performance, financial reporting of the Company, and supervision of accounting personnel. This position reports directly to the CFO and COO.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage general ledger functions including analysis, reconciliations, and journal entries.


• Oversee preparation of monthly financial statements and cost accounting activities.


• Analyze Build of Materials for manufacturing divisions.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting.


• 7 to 10 years of relevant accounting experience.


• CPA preferred, manufacturing/construction accounting experience advantageous.


• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP system preferred.


• 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Familiarity with NetSuite Advanced Manufacturing Module and Warehouse Management Systems.


• Experience with NetSuite ERP required.


• Advanced Excel proficiency.


• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Self-motivated with a focus on efficiency improvement.
