International Human Resources Manager jobs in Akron, OH

Performs HR and employment relations functions including recruitment, selection, hiring, affirmative action, EEO, training, safety, discipline and maintains required records/documentation. Responsible for competence, awareness and training of associates performing work that affects product quality required by the TS 16949 standard and/or QS 14001 Environmental Management System requirements.

• Recruit, interview and select employees to fill vacant positions.
• Meet with manufacturing staff on a weekly basis about manning requirements.
• Process new hires; to include pre-employment drug screens, orientation, establish files and enter employment information in payroll system.
• Processes payroll, salary changes and administer benefit plans, monitor /document personnel transactions such as hires, transfers, promotions, terminations and employment statistics.
• Provide supervisors with competency evaluations and/or performance reviews.
• Maintain, log and file training documents.
• Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relation issues.
• Responds to questions, inquiries and complaints from employees.
• Monitors employee attendance, warnings, vacation tracking, LOA, and FMLA programs.
• Ensures policies, procedures, legal requirements and regulations affecting human resource functions are in compliance.
• Prepares monthly key metrics and HR reports.
• Represents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
• Aware of consequences to employee, customer and environment if procedures are not followed.
• Experience in Plex is a plus
• All other duties as deemed necessary by supervisor.
• College degree or 3- 5 yrs prior experience in human resource field. Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws, polices, and rules. Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance as determined by company. Must be regularly available to work at least 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. Must be available and willing to work such overtime as is necessary or desirable to meet business needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
