Primary Function
The Human Resources Specialist is the first point of contact for Human Resource Information System (HRIS) training and support. In addition to providing HRIS technical support and system maintenance, they will assist with onboarding or offboarding activities, create forms, assemble letter or offers, maintain files or data, and extend support services to others in the department.

Two-Year Associates Degree or BA/BS in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred - or - 3 years work experience with exposure to like tasks and responsibilities accepted.
Practical Knowledge Needed
Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Systems, Database Management, Payroll and Labor Practices, Union Labor Practices.
Work Experience Requirement
Minimum 203 years administrative experience supporting human resources or payroll.
Software and Applications Applied
Microsoft Office Products, PDF Based Workflow Solution, Cloud Based Applications, HRIS or other Talent Management Software.
